The past couple years have been unpredictable times, to say the least. When all signs point to turbulence, how do you find your north star? When data becomes noise, which compass can you turn to?
I would be lying if I said I knew exactly what I was doing on January 1 of this year. But sitting here at the end of the year, looking back, I realize that I fell back on the one thing I knew - my values. Just take one day at a time, and head in the direction where we are making the most positive impact, in the best way we know how.

I am so honored to work with such a talented and spirited group of people. We are a team of jugglers, (literally!) - with our colorful balls, as well as the array of projects we each handle. Most importantly, we are passionate about what we do. I can honestly say I love going to work every day, and that is in no small part due to the wonderful humans I get to hang out with all day. 😀

As a manager, we often have to assess each team member’s ability to execute, as well as their cultural fit - their hard skills and their soft skills. Which is more important? Over the past year, Skills Bridge has had the privilege to partner with management teams from institutions across various sectors to answer this question.
In certain situations, we identify a specific gap that can be addressed with one- or two-day training sessions. Our concentrated programs with McKinsey, Shell, and Becamex Tokyu were focused with hands-on activities and in-depth discussions.
In other situations, we determined that a learning journey would be the best solution. Our training series with Axon, Maybank, and Viatriswere custom tailored to facilitate a progressive skill-building journey over a 3-6 month period, fostering a continuous learning culture for each of the teams.
Examining learning outcomes from a different perspective, we collaborated with educational institutions like British University Vietnam and FPT University to create programs for undergraduate and MBA students on topics from start-up fundraising to leadership and communication.

As a first-generation immigrant in the US, I learned the value of the adage, "To the world, you are one person; to one person, you are the world.” Growing up, I was on the receiving end - appreciating the mentorship from various advisors who were so gracious with their time and kindness. And now, I am fortunate that the roles have reversed.
The great thing about today’s world is that with technology, we can empower many more people with our advice and guidance. Over the past year, we have had 17 million views through all social media channels. About 1/3 of them came from our online collaborations such as Yeu Lanh with Vietcetera, Cot Moc with Vietnamworks, and Break Time with Thai Van Linh with YAN Digital and Fonos.
Through our offline events, we have reached 5,000 people in the past year. Some outstanding programs include the PowHERful Vietnam Girls' Summit in cooperation with the Saigon Children's Charity CIO (SCC) and the startup training program calledAcademy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) in Vietnam is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Embassy in Vietnam, and the U.S. Consulate General inHo Chi Minh City.

As I step into another new year, I am filled with gratitude and optimism. I am so grateful for the journey I am on with the team, not just for our achievements, but also for the bonds we have forged and for the lives we have touched. Together, we have woven a tapestry of change and progress, one that is rich with the colors of hard work, collaboration, and compassion.
